Cookies and similar technologies
We’ve tried to keep this site as light on tracking as possible. Here’s the full list of what runs in your browser when you visit, and why.
What we use
Essential — always on
We use a small amount of browser storage (specifically localStorage) to remember in-progress quiz and intake answers if you start a form and don’t finish in one go. This stays in your browser; we don’t read it from our servers. You can clear it any time from your browser settings.
Analytics — privacy-first, no cookies
We use Vercel Analyticsto count how many people visit each page and which pages are popular. It’s a cookie-less analytics tool: it doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t track you across other websites, and doesn’t collect data that identifies you individually. It records anonymous, aggregated traffic only.
If you reach checkout
When you pay for a buyer report, the payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention as part of the payment flow. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe; their cookie policy is at stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.
What we don’t use
- No advertising cookies.
- No social media tracking pixels (no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight, etc.).
- No cross-site tracking of any kind.
- No session replay or heatmap tools.
- No A/B testing tools that profile individual visitors.
Why we’re not asking you to click a banner
Under UK law (PECR), a consent banner is required for cookies that aren’t strictly necessary for the service you’ve asked for. The only non-essential analytics we use is cookie-less and doesn’t profile you, which we’ve assessed as not requiring consent. If we ever add a cookie that does require consent, we’ll ask first.
How to clear what’s there
You can clear browser storage and any cookies the site has set through your browser’s settings. This will clear any in-progress quiz/intake answers stored locally.
